The bits you're probably worried about

Won't my customers hate talking to an AI?
Some will. That's why Muckr moves the conversation to text within the first 20 seconds — most people actually prefer texting anyway. The AI introduces itself properly, never pretends to be you, and kicks anything complex back to you directly. Every customer gets a real person eventually. They just don't get voicemail.
What if it books me a shit job?
You set the rules: your radius, minimum job size, trades you don't do, the questions the AI asks. It only books slots you've made available. You can cancel or override anything. If it books you something daft, we treat it as a bug and fix it.
Does this replace Jobber or ServiceM8?
No — it feeds them. Those tools are great for running a job once it's booked. Muckr is the bit that happens before: when the phone rings and you're not there. Native integrations with Jobber and ServiceM8 are on the roadmap. Google Calendar and Outlook sync are live from day one.
Is this just another AI receptionist?
Fair question. Most AI receptionists just take a message. Muckr is built around qualifying and booking, not just answering. Trade-specific, UK-specific (we understand postcodes and radius), and building toward photo-based estimates — which no general AI receptionist will do.
I'm not technical. Can I set this up?
You don’t need to be. Create your account, use Request support to ask for setup, and we configure things for you — number, handoff, calendar — so you’re not left clicking through menus alone. Founding 50 members also get a short onboarding call with the founder and a direct line if anything breaks.
Why is there a weekly call limit on the £29 tier?
Twilio and the AI stack are usage-based — without a cap, a busy week could wipe out the margin on a low price. 20 answered calls per week is plenty for a lot of sole traders; if you regularly need more, we’ll talk tiers or add-ons before you’re stuck. We’re not trying to catch you out — we’re keeping the maths honest.
What about my data? GDPR?
Customer conversations run on UK infrastructure, encrypted in transit and at rest, auto-deleted 90 days after the quote is booked unless you choose to keep them. We don't train AI models on your data. Full DPA in your account. Built in the UK, for UK GDPR.
